Philippines National Demographic and Health Survey 2008

This report summarizes the findings of the 2008 Philippines National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) carried out by the National Statistics Office (NSO). The NDHS is part of the worldwide MEASURE Demographic and Health Surveys program, which is designed to collect information on a variety of health-related topics including fertility, family planning, and maternal and child health. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) provided financial assistance for some activities during the preparatory and processing phases of the project, as well as funding for technical assistance through ICF Macro, an ICF International Company.
