big time surge for bro. eddie villanueva in 2010 Presidentiables Blog Poll

August 25, 2009

the top rankings have not changed – escudero continue to lead at 23%, villar at 2nd with 16%, binay at 3rd with 14% and fernando at 4th with 13%. while the rankings may have not changed, the gaps have tightened and that is because of the increase in votes for the tail enders.

noteworthy is the big time surge for bro. eddie villanueva who  after just 4 days of

bro. eddie villanueva

bro. eddie villanueva

being included in the poll now has 6% of the votes putting him at 6th place behind 5th placer roxas who has 7%.

this is the first time we have seen such a magnificent surge in the 2010 Presidentiables Poll. we did not see this kind of surge for newcomers like perlas, teodoro, panlilio nor madrigal.

the surge is obviously being fueled by villanueva supporters who are in the internet. they were probably just been waiting for us to include him in the poll. in fact, there have been complaints before questioning our decision not  to include him in the poll. we said that he was not included because he has not declared his intention to run. in fact, we included villanueva in the polls on the day he announced he is a presidentiable.

there are just a few candidates who have a strong presence in the internet – these are villar, escudero, binay, fernando and now villanueva. we have seen the votes of these candidates surge at certain times when they start to ask their supporters who are also in the internet to go to this blog to vote.

we are particularly impressed with villanueva as this is the fastest, most massive surge we have seen in the 2010 Presidentiables Poll, congratulations to bro. eddie’s supporters.

vote in the polls and see the results here: https://2010presidentiables.wordpress.com/2009/04/29/2010-presidentiables-poll-cast-your-vote/

The genuine reformist and candidate that should be voted should have the qualification, have done something for our people already and will be ready to listen to the people. It should not only be based on faith but also on genuine capability and trust. I believe in Bro. Eddie but I think he is not the one…. for me talaga ito si Perlas.

      Dear shenbrod,

I agree with your first sentence, and the people (down to the grass roots) who has helped by Bro. Eddie are his witnesses on what he has done to them. His good deeds may not be seen, televised or publicized (unlike those hypocritical politics), but what he has done to our country men has a good impact to the nation. I hope that you don’t just believed in Bro. Eddie, but do something to bring about good change to ourselves and our country, rather radical change to fight and stand for truth, justice and righteouness. Let’s put a Godly man to lead us fight and defeat the works and schemes of the evil.

I agree Julian. Don’t we see the 7million people changed their lives? Who can change a person from drug addict into a good person?

Did you know that he’s did not accept he’s salary from being a Board of Director of PUP because he wanted to give its scholars?

Nabalitaan ba natin yung mga babaeng sinagip nya sa Singapore becuase ginagawa silang sex slaves dun?

Bro. Eddie ay hindi katulad ng ibang kandidato. He’s way ahead from them.

      • April 29, 2010 at 12:36 pm

I do respect Bro. Eddie’s candidacy because they also bear the clarion call for new politics. But on the other hand, when I did a comparison between Nick and Eddie, it shows that Nick’s qualification is the most fit for the position of president.

Bro. Eddie, for me, is also a good choice for president, but in the basis of track record and platform, no doubt that Perlas fits in.

All I can say is may the best of our candidates win. In the end, we will support each other for the rebuilding of this nation.

perlas? how could he change the country if he wasn’t able to handle his family well? a changed person should exemplify leadership first through his family. bro eddie does it well!

      • April 29, 2010 at 12:27 pm

Let’s not make this an issue. Nick Perlas marital status show that he is not divorced but they are only “separated by mutual, respectful, and friendly agreement”.

But still, they are in good terms with his wife.

I am more than willing to give more than Php 4,000 if this amount can help my country to bring back the morality in government. And I pray that this amount that I am willing to give will extend up to my future children. God bless Philippines..

tama ka dyan ryca! and to Iame, minsan kailangan din na mabuksan ang isip natin kasi minsan mismong mga ka church nya ang mas di nakakunawa in the sense na akala nila pang church lang si bro. Eddie at isa pa hanggang ngayon ayaw syang pakawalan sa church when this is the time na makita ng lahat ang gawa ng Diyos para mismo sa bansa natin at sino pa ang pwede nyang gamitin, syempre Eddie siya na nga! yung may tunay na pananampalataya at takot sa Diyos! So for me, its time to participate and take a stand for what we know is good for us and specially for our country.

I am for righteous and patriotic leader whom I believe is willing to sacrifice, step-out of his comfort zone, without excess political baggages and most of all with political will para muling bumangon ang pilipinas at maibalik ang paggalang ng ibang bansa. And all of these qualities of a leader we need that can lead our country to arise can be found only to Bro Eddie.

The million volunteer supporters of Bro Eddie is a plus point for winability that the other candidates don’t have. But more people must know BRO EDDIE and what he and the BPBP MOVEMENT are fighting for.

Last 2004 election I am one of Bro Eddie’s detractors every time me & my friends have election discussion. But when I met one of the Bangon volunteers, of a stranger whom I only met thru my officemate, I was able to know that they are doing it voluntarily. They even not campaign me to vote for Bro Eddie but one thing for sure on that discussion is that I was educated and knew their cause and activities. I don’t know who really Bro Eddie is, except that he is a pastor. But the turning point is that I voted for him. The reason why? Because I found in him thru his supporters that he is the only candidate who don’t have excess political baggage that may result to corruption. A temptation of corruption due to candidates common goal of having the maximum Return of Investment (ROI). Unlike Bro Eddie, he will also aim for the maximum ROI but in a different way. Which is only attainable by working hard not for himself but for the volunteers hope to come true by being a True Public Servant. We can say that the strength that lost during campaign will not be wasteful.

Don’t be distracted of deceptions by the so called bandwagon of popularity… Stay focus for the New Philippines New Pilipino. Our beloved country will arise soon by God’s grace & mercy. Glory to God!!

      Mabuhay & God bless Philippines!

    HOW IMPORTANT IS ONE VOTE?

    • In 1645, one vote gave Oliver Cromwell control of England.
    • In 1649, one vote caused Charles I of England to be executed.
    • In 1776, one vote gave America the English language instead of German.
    • In 1845, one vote brought Texas into the Union.
    • In 1868, one vote saved President Andrew Johnson from impeachment.
    • In 1875, one vote changed France from a monarchy to a republic.
    • In 1876, one vote gave Rutherford B. Hayes the presidency of the United States.
    • In 1923, one vote gave Adolf Hitler leadership of the Nazi Party.
    • In 1941, one vote saved Selective Service – just weeks before Pearl Harbor was attacked.

    ONE VOTE CAN CHANGE!

    • In 1645, ONE VOTE gave Oliver Cromwell control of England.
    • In 1649, ONE VOTE caused Charles I of England to be executed.
    • In 1839, ONE VOTE elected Marcus Morton governor of Massachusetts.
    • In 1845, ONE VOTE brought Texas into the Union.
    • In 1868, ONE VOTE saved President Andrew Johnson from impeachment.
    • In 1876, ONE VOTE changed France from a monarchy to a republic.
    • In 1923, ONE VOTE gave Adolf Hitler leadership of the Nazi Party.
    • In 1960, ONE VOTE change in each precinct in Illinois would have defeated John F. Kennedy.

TO ALL MY BELOVED, LET US VOTE PRAYERFULLY AND WISELY FOR GOD AND FOR OUR BELOVED COUNTRY!
