this is a pain to read, too long and too many words making it very difficult to understand and boring.

Platform of Government and Statement of Basic Principles and
Policies For Governance of  BANGON PILIPINAS PARTY 2010

Basic Proposition

Bangon Pilipinas Party (BPP) believes that for the country to recover from the terminal cancer of corruption, injustice and poverty, both the leadership and the people must weave back the basic tenets of love for God and love for country into the fabric of Philippine politics and governance. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and strength and love your neighbour as you love yourself”, is not only a credo for personal life, it is also the cornerstone of all nation-building. “DIYOS AT BAYAN” is the core philosophy of BPP.

The demand of loving God and loving the country is righteousness.  The fruit of righteousness is first of all justice for the poor, for the civil servants, for the labourer, the employee and wage earner, for the businessman and investor, for the youth, for senior citizens, for the farmer, for the soldier and the veteran, for those who have to care for others, for the overseas worker, for the local government unit, for all people and every sector of Philippine society. Righteousness assures honesty, rectitude, transparency, responsibility, accountability, fairness and equal opportunity for all.  Righteousness evokes compassion and charity.  The blessings of righteousness are peace, development, the well-being of the community, self-respect, and prosperity.    And this righteousness must begin in and with government itself, with servant-leadership that has Character, Competence, Courage, and Compassion.

Only love of God and love of country that produces righteousness in the body politic, under a servant-leadership of character, competence, courage, and compassion, can bring true and genuine change in the land.   “Diyos at Bayan para sa Tunay at Tama na Pagbabago.”

This core value and philosophy translate into a Seven-Point Roadmap of Bangon Pilipinas Party for the country:

I. Eradicate bad governance

II. Energize the economy

III. Elevate the living standards of the people

IV. Empower the people

V. Emancipate the people

VI. Educate the people

VII. Establish peace and order in the land

Wow ah. ginagamit pa nya word of Gods para lang sa kanyang interest umupo sa pagkapresidente. He like it not as a pastor, he want that position as a human, human interest. If he is a loyal pastor, hindi na nya kailangan kumandidato. If he is a pure and a loyal pastor he will focus on his mission to spread the words of
    god. not politics…

We need a God fearing president to rule our nation, Bro. Eddie deserves to be the president of our nation because of his love for God and our country. He always pray for our country and led other people to love our country. If you have love for God , it should manifest for your love in your country and fellowmen. God bless you Bro. Eddie, God is with you and we always support you in our prayers.

Our beloved country has been in the hands of many politicians, some where good but many wasted our resources, ma fi fell mo yan sa streets.when i come home from abroad, as long as step down from the plane then i started pulling inside my personal belongings.???? Country ko’to ba’t parang diako feel secure?,,,i ask to myself.UAE is a muslim country, very safe and they prospered- we are also called ‘the only Christian nation in Far east Asia” ba’t what happen to us? On our streets? our neighbourhood? safe kaba sa place mo now?. no wonder some pastors, priest comes out to public and involve themselves to public services, not because they are greed of power, but because they want to help us on the right direction, KABAYAN let us not pre-judge them. Those whom we entrusted our precius vote fall short of what is really needed. “We all be neither freed nor slaves on our choices” Vote Wisely-read flatforms and dont be weary.it will take only few minutes, but if we fail, we will suffer not less than 6 years…Thanks for ur time…mabuhay tayo!

This is a real strategic platform…and it makes sense. Not only does it make sense, but it is radical…and that is what we need…radical change.

I like his point about having a Federal government. Although I am pro Parliamentary form of government…I think it is almost impossible because of our history…marami ang hindi papayag…Federal government is the next best thing and is more feasible.

Lumabas rin ang pagka-economista niya sa platform na ito. The preference of Alchemy is really good. I hope he also tries to bring the cost of doing business down since this would be of great help to SMEs. I just think na baka magka-problema siya sa suggestion niya na bilhin ulit ang Petron. It might bring the cost of gas down but almost uncontrollable yan na industry…where we are under the mercy of oil producing countries. I also hope that he tries to make the Philippines as a trading country para ma-exploit rin natin ang advantage natin in trade when it comes to trade, because we are adjacent to several countries which are main players in the world economy.

I still think that he should have started as senator first…and then move up. He would have had greater chances.

    God bless the Philippines

To those who say that he should have remained as a pastor to serve the country:

To change an organization…even a country…a leader has to change the system and the culture. The culture – he could influence it by being a pastor. The system – kailangan mo na maging in position to change it. This pertains to laws.
