I’ve researched all the presidential candidates. If I was voting for anyone, I would have the following concerns:
    1) If a candidate is already a billionaire/millionaire, and he/she has not bothered to participate in making a profound difference to the Filipino people all these years in any capacity, why would he/she do something now as President? It only means that he/she wants to steal, lie and cheat — in a gigantic way. After all, being a president allows access to a blank check (Remember what Bush did to America for 8 years. He was also a multi-millionaire before becoming the pres.)
    2) If a candidate turns to his spouse and/or relative(s) to maintain a political oligarchy from here to kingdom come, it means that the candidate’s mission is to ensure that any political office is controlled by him and the family to continue defrauding the people (Beware of candidates whose spouses are also holding current political positions, pretty much like the mafia)
    3) From the Marcos era to Cory Aquino, each and every voter should do a fact check on past and current administrations. Which President of the Philippines put the Philippines on the map to global (world) success? While China and India are lending money in the billions to the US, how much did the Philippines lend to any country?

Every politician is also a human being who is capable of doing a great job, or bankrupting the entire country. Therefore, when you vote this May 2010, consider this:
    1) Choosing “The Past”
fact check and google the past administrations.
    2) Choosing “The Present”
fact check and google the current administration.
    3) Choosing “THE FUTURE”
fact check and google all the presidentiables and candidates for 2010 (remember the 3 concerns)

Millions of Filipinos who work as OFWs would rather stay and work in PI and raise their children, however, where are the jobs? If other countries stop hiring Filipinos, how much dent will this make on the money remittances received every minute?

Filipinos are very smart, yet, when it comes to voting, they dilly-dally. VOTE FOR THE CANDIDATE WHO CAN CHANGE THE FUTURE AND WHO WALKS THE TALK. IF THE FILIPINOS VOTE FOR ANOTHER MILLIONAIRE OR BILLIONAIRE IN 2010, THE PHILIPPINES WILL GET MORE OF THE SAME (THE PAST) AND GUARANTEED WILL BECOME ANOTHER FAILURE LIKE THE US.

funny you said that Lauren. A year ago, everyone was shouting, emotional and teary-eyed for Barrack Obama. Now they are shouting against his decisions and unfulfilled promises.

Emotions can get the better of us this elections.
