VILLAR TRYING TO BUY PRESIDENCY – IS IT FOR SALE ?

FACT— VILLAR HAS A MINIMUM OF 40 TV SPOTS A DAY AT A COST OF P10 MILLION EVERY DAY THE PAST 5 MONTHS FOR A TOTAL COST OF P1.5 BILLION – AND THAT IS NOT COUNTING HIS EXPENSES ON RADIO, DOLPHY, WILLLIE REVILLAME ETC, ETC AND THE ELECTION OFFICIAL CAMPAIGN PERIOD HAS NOT EVEN STARTED – THEY SAY HIS BUDGET IS P20 BILLION AND ALL FOR A JOB THAT PAYS P200 THOUSAND A YEAR!

QUESTION – —-HE SAYS HE IS A GOOD BUSINESSMAN – AND IF HE IS, I WONDER WHERE HE EXPECTS TO GET HIS RETURN ON HIS AT LEAST P20 MILLION INVESTMENTS. WHAT KIND OF RETURN WILL VILLAR EXPECT – – —GIVEN THE HIGH RISK OF THIS UNDERTAKING, HE PROBABLY EXPECTS A GOOD RETURN – MAYBE DOUBLE OR TRIPLE HIS MONEY IN SIX YEARS SAY TO P60 BILLION

WHERE CAN HE GET THAT RETURN —- TOTAL ESTIMATED BUDGET OF THE
GOVERNMENT OVER THE NEXT 6 years IS P10 TRILLION WITH ABOUT P1 TRILLION DISCRETIONARY – IF VILLAR MAKES C5 AND TAGA ON THE P1TRILLIO OF 20% … hmmmm THATS P200 BILLION ON AN INVESTMENT OF P20 BILLION – HMMM VILLAR IS ONE SMART BUSINESSMAN.

WHAT’S THE IMPACT ON THE POOR? – P200 BILLION THAT WILL CONSERVATIVELY BE LOST TO CORRUPTION AS A PAYBACK TO VILLAR’s CAMPAIGN EXPENSES CAN PAY FOR 40,000 CLASSROOMS TO SOLVE THE SHORTAGE PLUS, CREATE A MICRO LENDING FUND THAT CAN GENERATE 3.2 million jobs – CORRUPTION IS THE CAUSE OF POVERTY!

      DAGDAG:

NOW THE CAT’S OUT OF THE BAG….
MANNY VILLAR IS THE SECRET CANDIDATE OF PRES “GMA” … MIKE ARROYO HIMSELF MET WITH MANNY VILLAR AT THE HOUSE OF MIKE DEFENSOR LAST JAN 7…. VILLAR SECRETLY AGREED TO MAKE GMA AS SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE AND PROTECT HER SHOULD VILLAR WIN THE PRESIDENCY.. .. VILLAR AGREE TO GMA’S OFFER OF MASSIVE LOGISTICAL SUPPORT IN GMA’S COMMISSIONERS IN THE COMELEC WHO WILL ASSURE VILLAR’S VICTORY …

i agree with you, lia .. the videos in these links (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5gskXtTzDI) and (http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/5225120?) support your post .. that is why i am for BROTHER EDDIE .. we don’t need super intelligent, super-achievers nor super-whatever presidents .. what we need are God-fearing leaders who will not feed on commissions, lagays, pork barrels and the like .. we need to look into the lifestyle of those running for elective positions to see if they fed on what is not theirs .. we know their monthly salaries so magtaka ka kung namumuhay sila sa karangyaan kung ang kanilang pananalapi ay nanggagaling lamang sa kanilang buwanang sueldo ..

I pity those who doesn’t know the real Manny Villar. I was born and raised in Las Pinas but me and my family will never vote for him. I know what he is capable of. He is not a true leader. He is a businessman. How would you think will he lead this country? One thing is for sure, his business and his family will benefit from it. Those poor people will remain where they are and worse- even their own land will soon be owned by Mr. Manny Villar.

because of the C5 scandal project i lost my trust in him to run as president. He will use his power to cover up all the issues regarding the C5 project and ever he will be elected the more that he can use his power to do corruption. People in las piñas lost his trust on him where he served there for how many years.

i want to share you a true story..there was a young man who is so hard headed, one morning he attend the flag ceremony and was scolded by his principal because of his improper attire during the flag ceremony..the young was so angry to his principal dahil napahiya siya..years later the young man become the principal but it so happen that the incident happen years back will happen again in same situation during flag ceremony.. he scolded one student wearing improper attire during flag ceremony… the student got angry too and went back to his dormitory to get a knife to kill the principal. buti nalang daming pumigil,, but you know the principal learned a lesson and now he feels what his principal feels years back. i share this because we are always criticizing our leaders.. cguro nga if you become a leader you can feel what they feel..honestly i have no comment regarding corruption. noon mahilig ako mag comment but when i work in a political leader as a secretary doon ko na realize na sometimes or not just sometimes sumuobra din tayo sa mga comments natin..this is just base on my experience..I woke up early so that i could be at the office at 5:00 in the morning just to entertain solicitation letters from different people, offices, districts. i could still remember in 1 week we could release money a minimum of 2hundred thousand for a solicitation letter.. sino nag hingi? mga tao…pag di ka magbigay daming mag comment.. do they(politician) have any choice?…nag corrupt sila para din sa atin.. MALI ang ginawa nila pero mali din tayo kasi we are always asking help to them..bakit d nalang tayo ang gagawa nang mabuting paraan to improve our lives?..but im condemning other politician coz sumusobra din sila.. they corrupt for their own benefits..kaya kung gusto nating may mangyari sa ating bansa at uunlad tayo, we will start in ourselves..

  12. September 15, 2009 at 10:09 am

I realy would like to vote for someone with INTEGRITY and not.. i thought that was villar but after seeing his involvement in several scandals..anyway,

If you are looking for a leader with

    authentic CHARACTER,
real COURAGE for righteousness in government,
and genuine COMPETENCE for change in this country..

I would strongly endorse BRO. EDDIE C. VILAANUEVA.

Why I Think Bro. Eddie Should Be President in 2010:

What I saw from him is that a person who has a clear vision on how he will start working out our country’s development. He has plans on our country’s debt in world bank. He has plans against corruption (transparency). He has plans on our agriculture development (farm to market roads) and a lot of things detailed by him during the campaign 6 yrs ago. Those are the things that convinced me to vote for him.

Add the fact that he’s once an activist (fighting for the little and poor) and having the longest term as a Board of Regent member of the largest university of the country and not getting a cent of his honorarium and giving it to the scholarship fund, that is indeed something. For me, being an evangelist is just a PLUS for all of those things about Bro. Eddie. Honestly, being an evangelist is what least appealed to me, sorry for the others here, because I feared that he might not be able to perform well two big responsibilities at the same time but then, I believe that he will leave his post temporarily as the JIL leader when he gets elected. I know that he knows what to do better more than me.

and by the way, he’s DEFINITELY NO.1 in this SURVEY.
    (thats a fact!)

    Psalm 1:2-3 says,

“..his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers..”

i would definitely love to see a president that whatever he does PROSPERS..

    Let’s hope BRO. EDDIE wins!

    BROTHER EDDIE!
    BROTHER EDDIE!
    BROTHER EDDIE!
    BROTHER EDDIE!

      December 1, 2009 at 11:21 pm

      Mark,

Those were only accusations against Senator Manny Villar, he was acquitted (if you know what that means), if we talk about Integrity, he has that. Where did you get the idea that Eddie Villanueva will quit as a Pastor of JIL temporarily, that is only your idea, but not Eddie’s idea.

You hope that Eddie wins, but MANNY VILLAR is already a sure WINNER.

You are just dreaming, wake up!!!

I don’t think he’s fit for the position. I don’t question his intelligence.

His fame as a JIL leader is not enough, just because he’s a good preacher of your religion, it doesn’t necessarily mean he can lead a nation. Besides he doesn’t have experience in politics.

He keeps blaming the politicians being corrupt, how come he wants to belong to their world?

Wouldn’t it be better if he will lead his members to support for someone who really deserves the position to serve our country?

I know two personalities, but I’m not here to promote them. I just want each and everyone to choose for themselves.

But I’m honestly against Manny Villar- MAN-EVIL-LIAR!

POLITICAL ADS: JUST A WASTE OF MONEY.

Since i was a kid i learned of Mr. Villar’s life, but i can’t say it’s already enough for me to say i know him already.

To me, he was like a knight in shining armor who would save our nation from poverty–until that political campaign came.

Well, campaigns are a must in every election. But in my opinion, once a political candidate does this campaign ad on tv, the sincerity in his intentions gets shattered into pieces.

Campaign ads are for the people’s knowledge. The thing is, people don’t know much of the candidate who’s trying to win their hearts coz they don’t pay much attention to politics anymore. Instead, they focus on the problem of the nation more than on the search for the perfect leader.

I’m not against Mr. Villar, though.

Go go VILLAR! Thanks

This is the first I will vote and young as I am I am fully aware of what is going on in the country. Sad to say we have not found any president the country will be proud of.Being very intelligent is a not a guarantee , being not intelligent will only worsen the situation. Probably we need somebody who have a heart ,integrity , and young who can cope with the rigors of the job.I believe Noynoy is the man because KUNG ANO ANG PUNO AY SIYANG BUNGA, MAGANDA ANG PINANGGALIGAN NI NOYNOY KAYA MAARING NA IMVIVE NIYA ANG MGA VALUES AT VIRTUES NG KANYANG MGA MAGULANG. I am not yet a voter but i fully believe that Manny Villar is one of a kind. He climbed his way out of poverty and i believe that this is something that he could share to the filipinos. Let us not allow ONE SINGLE ISSUE to destroy our trust to this guy. Although his issue was A BIG ONE, I still think that he desreves to be the President. He is no TRAPO!! Hindi anak mayaman. No one taught him how to be successful, he himself MADE IT!!

      February 17, 2010 at 3:00 pm

As stated in this forum we need to think twice before deciding who we will vote for president. I knew that majority here is for Villar but here are some questions that bothers me why I am not decided yet to vote for him.

      1. He is a businessman and we need to know the mentality of a businessman.
      2. If you become rich that much simply means you do something extraordinary.( Please note that in business for you to become very successfull dapat medyo tuso ka)
      3. I really appreciate how he planned and he is very good in that. Please remember that he once a Lakas leader, transfer to Erap’s PMP so that he can become speaker of the house and then later we knew that he is one those who turned back to erap. (With his move her we knew that to become a speaker of the house he needed to do something)
      4. He became Senate President. If you look at how he became a senate president, he first side with the opposition and when he realized that he cannot get the majority of the opposition, he coalized with the minority (administration senator).

There are lots of circumstances that show Villar plan ahead to get what he wanted. What I am afraid of is what really is his plan? Again he is a genius guy and he knows how to get what he wants. He then pretended that he is loyal to Erap and then eventually turned back to him. He pretended that he is on the opposition side in the senate but looked if he ever critized the administration. Now he knew that majority of the voters are poor and he pretended as one of them.

If the allegations against Manny Villar by Ping Lacson on the issue of the C5 Project controversy is true, then Mr. Villar is guilty of cheating the government of huge amount of money that was spent unnecessarily for some modifications in the original content of the project. If its not true, then he should have reacted to this allegations and must have published his defense at the senate, where he was alleged, or in court, or in public (media). Transparency is one of the principles of good governance.

  31. amvor
    December 5, 2009 at 6:56 am

  32. romy56
    December 5, 2009 at 1:25 pm

If Villar was already cleared by the Supreme Court on the issue of the C5 project, then he is qualified to run as president. Being one of the financially stable candidates, he has the budget to acquire the required machinery to campaign for his candidacy. Political machineries are one of the prime considerations in staging a political battle. Just like in military warfare, no strategy is applicable enough without machinery. Anyone who says running in the political race should be a non-monetary contest is trying to tell us it is still possible to fly in a broom instead of boarding a plane.

    credibles?? watch the news pls…
they say he dont need money anymore…

Many in the business sector feel that this administration has failed to deliver satisfactory performance based on these criteria: (1) competitiveness, (2) employment, (3) export growth, (4) foreign direct investments, and (5) fiscal stability.

Don’t vote for Manny Villar – He is NOT an honest person. He did not become rich on his own effort but instead he married someone who has money and used those for his own interest. Yes he was born in Tondo but he was being supported by his father and he did not leave like that of a poor man. I should know, I grew up there, ask the people there about the truth. I know this things, in fact if he really loves the poor how come Tondo is not getting anywhere, why do he have to become President of the country. Do you really need the power to help. All of this that you see in his campaign ads are bullshit.

Don’t be fooled by this candidate. Remember always, when a businessman enters politics, there is always a hidden agenda involved. Don’t ever think that the ads, commercials, and the money that he payed celebrity endorsers will come for free – he would charge it to you. He is a businessman and he thinks that this election is an investment and he will cash it in when he gets to power. And who has to pay for the money he used? the answer is YOU – the taxpayer.

Wag kayo mag-madali.. Think, wag padala sa gandang lalaki, bank accounts, and magagandang salita. I know the filipinos are smart now but we still need to do more research. Malayo pa ang May 2010 – 4 months to go you still have enough time to research, gather facts, and then you decide. Good luck and may you see the light.

Practice what you preach.

Gud morning, Mr. Manny Villar…I am a 3rd year nursing student from Tacloban City,Leyte. In one of our subjects, we are asked to ask certain questions to the 2010 presidentiables. Since you’re one of them, I would just like to ask you a few questions. I hope it’s all right with you, sir. And as a citizen of this country and as a registered voter, I am also interested to know what you plan to do. The questions are as follows: If youi would win the 2010 presidential elections, what are your plans that would help in the progress of our country? If and only if you would not win, what are your plans? I am hoping that you would find time to answer these questions, sir. It would be of great help to me and to my studies. You may email your answer to louella_anne16@yahoo.com. Thank you so much and God bless..

Of all the presidentiables, I think Manny Villar is the most desperate. His ads cost around 200k to 300k per airing. That’s a big sum of money. I pity you if you lose, manny boy. And if you win,I am worried because I’m sure that you’ll get your Return of investment. And please stop acting on ads that you are the poor guy from Tondo. MGA KABABAYAN, Manny Villar is the 5th richest person in the Philippines according to Forbes.

Eliboy are you sure you’re reading Forbes? or you’re just fantasizing? Villar is the 9th riches personality in the Philippines having an assets of 530M-USD or “almost” 26B-PHP, and not 5th as you’ve stated. . .

Now, are you sure that your observation is accurate? and your analyzing skills is credible/reliable?

Better think twice and make sure to deliver a reliable news, and not those of fantasies. . .

To my fellow Filipinos who already have chosen their candidate for president on May elections, please think about these thoughts:

If Noynoy was not born Aquino, would you vote for him according to his performance in the senate?

If Villar was not so rich and couldn’t afford to pay billions of pesos for his infomercials, would you vote for him according to his record of accounts?

If Gibo was not a bar exams top-notcher would you vote for him according to his performance as a National Defense secretary?

If Erap was not an ousted president/actor, would you vote for him according to his credibility?

If Eddie V was not a religious leader, would you vote for him according to his executive experience… if there was?

If Gordon was not unpopular, would you vote for him according to his achievements as mayor of Olongapo, chairman of SBMA, chairman of PNRC, secretary of tourism department, and chairman of the blue ribbon senate committee?

Noynoy Aquino? do u still recall kung ano sinabi nya sa una nyang pag-harap sa pres ng umugong ang balitang tatakbo sya? i quote it “Hindi ako handa.” another thing pagmamay-ari ba talaga ng mga Aquino ang Hacienda Luisita? “I don’t think so.”, ito ay lupa na para sa mga mag-sasaka at hindi talaga orihinal na pagmamay-ari ng mga Aquino; i don’t want to elaborate about it as of this moment but soon you’ll know it’s a “BOOM!”; do you still recall the Mendiola Massacre? well better search now’, who’s behind this? you’ll gonna find it out. . .

Bro. Eddie? a man of God, sabi nga nila’, isang magaling na leader di umano’, “Anong gagawin n’ya sa Malacañang?” “MAGDASAL MAGHAPON MAGDAMAG?”. . .

Gordon? no comment nalang better ask RED CROSS. . .

Erap? magpahinga nalang sya. . .

Gibo? matalino, magaling’, anong problema sa kanya? “Sinisira sya ng partidong kinabibilangan nya” “SIRA ANG PANGALAN NYA DAHIL SA ADMINISTRASYON”. . .

Ganon talaga. Just like those who hate and who are envious of Sen. Villar, they continuously link the C-5 controversy.
Ika nga ni Sen. Miriam Santiago, “Sana lahat tayo kasama dyan, tutal lahat naman tayo pumirma dyan.”

        • pilip
          March 12, 2010 at 8:03 pm

    ==================================

    Mga kababayan kong kristiano,
    Magkaisa na po lahat tayo,
    Ng pag-suporta sa isang kandidato,
Na walang ninanais kundi kapakanan mo.

Aanhin mo sipag, tiaga at talino,
    Kung gagamitin sa kapahamakan mo,
    Kailangan natin ng isang pangulo,
May takot sa Dios na tutoo.

    Ang mga tutoong kristiano,
Na kabilang sa katawan ni Kristo,
    Hindi gagawa ng mga motibo,
    Na makakasira sa kabuuan nito.

Kaya’t ano pa ang hinihintay ‘nyo,
    Mga kapatid ko kay Kristo,
    Magkaisa na nga lahat tayo,
Sa isang kandidatong tunay na kristiano.

    Siya’y masipag, matiyaga at matalino,
At may takot nga sa Dios na tutoo,
    Ang adhikain niya’y kapakanan mo,
    Pagka’t mananagot siya kay Hesukristo.

    KAY “BROTHER EDDIE” PO TAYO,
    PARA SA TUNAY NA PAGBABAGO.

No offense meant to ardent supporters of Noynoy, some of whom are my close friends. Just a point of view of a non political observer.

    NOY
In every election, the easiest choice to make is, who you would not vote for. This year, it is profoundly difficult because for me the easiest identifiable candidate whom I would not vote for, (aside from Erap of course, for who would vote for a convicted plunderer) is a leading candidate, with the widest of margin in the survey, Noynoy. He probably will be the next president and so, in my heart, I tried my best to consider and reconsider my decision, yet I became more convinced that he is my best choice on whom not to vote for. These are in my thoughts:

    He is clean and honest
He really is unblemished, squeaky clean and immaculate.. His record for nine years speaks for himself. I am reminded of a friend of mine, a cocky but very articulate and bright Solicitor General. At a certain time before he started winning his cases, his critics had a heyday criticizing the way he handled his job. They said, he had a perfect record of losing all cases. Thus, his record was clean and unblemished of victory. Like this solicitor general,  Noynoy has also  no record of dishonesty simply because he has no record of accomplishment at all. He was one of the prominent members of the committee of silence. I goggled his name to find out if, except for his name, there was anything he did that he should be proud of. I am sorry that I found nothing. It is time he reveals what he had done in congress for nine years, plus two years in the senate, to deserve the presidency. When he ran for Senate, he simply relied on his family name and the endorsement of his mother. Being in the Senate with no accomplishment will not hurt the nation except the wasted money paid to him as a public servant. But to be president and not knowing what to do is probably as disastrous as a corrupt president.
He comes from a good stock
A prominent columnist of the Inquirer believes that since hero’s blood runs in his veins, he is a natural hero and would do nothing to shame the good name. The prominent columnist also said that what we need is a good heart and correct values and Noynoy fits to the T. Of course heritage is a plus factor but unfortunately, this is no assurance that he too will be as upright as his parents. We do not have to look far. Look at his sister. She even gloated and flaunted her sexual indiscretions and gave press interviews of her indecent acts, in spite of the fact that at that time, her dear mother was very much alive. She fueled salacious gossip about her sexual escapades that she grabbed the headlines for days of the local papers. Not only that. She proudly proclaimed that she will have to do a wash over of sorts, on the personality of Noynoy. To be fair, since Noynoy is not the sister’s keeper, he should publicly open how he spent his several hundred million, probably billions of pesos, if cumulatively taken together, of pork barrel. Joker and Lacson did not spend a single centavo on their pork barrel allocations. Moreover, Noynoy has not been battle tested; we do not know how he will react to temptation, simply because he has not been where the action is. He can not honestly and truthfully say that he is goodness personified and all others are evil just because he is the son of Cory.  It is sheer arrogance and hypocrisy to make such claim.
    He comes unprepared
Before the death of former Pres Cory, nobody considered him of presidential caliber, not even for vice president. His party mates knew of his capabilities and did not even look at his direction when they then considered their standard bearer. Noynoy himself, conscious of his own limitations, did not even dream of being one.  When his mother died and there was public mourning, all of a sudden, his party mates in spite of knowing his limited capabilities, and taking advantage of public sentiments, pushed him to be a candidate to the noble office of the presidency. This factual milieu clearly shows that his popularity is solely and purely for sentimental reasons, the death of Pres Cory. His supporters are praying to high heavens that the public sentiments on his parents would not wane and that the public would not see through the real Noynoy. Stripped of all sentimentality, there is nothing in his bio data that shows he is capable of the challenges of the highest office of the land. His biodata is uninspiring, to say the least. Aside from his public office due to his lineage, he was a sales person of Mondragon Industries, and a member of the board of directors of a security agency which the family owns. How in heavens name will he run the country?
Pres Cory’s landmark of achievement in her administration was her Land Reform program. Our own 24 hectares of irrigated rice land in Kinamayan, Davao del Norte was subjected to land reform and my Dad wanted to fight it out but I counseled him to surrender the land as I explained to him that ultimately the entire country will benefit from this pestering problem of unjust distribution of wealth. He understood the situation that each of us had to make sacrifices for the common good. This is not a unique scenario in Mindanao, then known as the Land of Promise . Little did we know that Pres Cory distributed all other people’s landholdings except her own Hacienda Luisita. She asked all of us to make sacrifices, except her own family. Her tenants protested and in the ensuing protest several tenants were mowed down. The tenants were unarmed and no casualties were suffered on the side of the soldiers trying to disperse the tenants. Of course, Noynoy is not her mother’s keeper, nor do I intend to diminish her mother’s role as our leader who toppled the dictatorship.
But when Noynoy declared his candidacy, he was asked point blank, what he planned to do with Hacienda Luisita. He had no ready answer but promised to give a stand soon. Three months passed and still no answer. Is he really prepared?
    Trust
The argument goes, that since the people lost trust in the present leadership, Noynoy comes as a white knight, enjoying the trust and confidence of the people. But why should we trust Noynoy? Has he done something to deserve our trust?” Trust is earned, deserved and not bestowed nor inherited. We are now bombarded with propaganda about the goodness of Pres Cory, to the extent that Noynoy propagandists even go to the limit of declaring her a saint, in the hope that people will also view Noynoy as saint- like. The Liberal Party had even formulated its battle cry: “this (the election) is a fight between good and evil”. My goodness, don’t you agree that a man who pontificates that he represents goodness is really suspect of some loose screws somewhere.

Noynoy’s handlers forgot the basic need of a responsible candidate-the need to have an advocacy. It should be pointed out that Noynoy has no advocacy at all in his public life. He won his senate seat solely upon his family name, like Loi Ejercito, Pia Cayetano, Bong Revilla and the like.  This is very important to those who are very discerning. We do not know to what directions we will be going, with him as a leader. It is fearsome to have a president who is not only unprepared and unqualified, but also to be under the control of unknown advisers and heaven forbid, under the tutelage of his movie star sister. It becomes more dreadful because his popularity is seemingly sustained, thanks to the biased and twisted reporting of our media and most especially of a very large TV network who all have their interests to protect.
The above mentioned points are correct.
I am simply saying that Noynoy is “Not Worth to Vote for Him” because:
                      1. He has no capability to govern
                      2. He relies solely on the name of his parents
                      3. He has no advocacy
                      4. He has no achievement on his own
                      5. He is pure creation of media
Sadly, only Noynoy has all these attributes among all presidential candidates.

Manny Villar is desperately using Manny Pacquiao and Freddie Roach to boost his candidacy, but unfortunately, the latter as straight forward as he is being an American, wasn’t so happy with Manny’s meeting with Villar so he went on to interupt and threatened Pacquiao that should he keep entertaining Villar, he would quit as his training coach. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=–lFH_DejLw&NR=1 So you can see how desperate Manny Villar to win this election, in order to cover up his anomalies by hook or by crook and by stealing 6.2 billions from the ordinary citizens, censure is all we get, what about the money he stole? doesn’t anyone interested to file plunder against Villar??? people should stand up and grab that 6.2 billions back from Money Villar. Loren Legarda? Oh please, everyone knows she is a political prostitute. She married Mr. Leviste for her political ambition. When she was done with him, the press knows she was involved with Mr. Edgardo Angara and had plans for running as an independent candidate. Now that she’s a free butterfly, she became Manny Villar’s runningmate because the price is right! So spare me with your “powerhouse political tandem”.

    • pilip
      March 12, 2010 at 7:30 pm

Good day po sa lahat and God bless the Philippines!

Manny Villar is a truly corrupt person. Does he even think about the many subdivisions that he owns?? Doesn’t he think that he’s building too much? i mean…what about the trees? Doesn’t he worry about the many subdivisions that he owns (together with his family) that it harms mother nature with the lands he’s building on and do u think he can live up to what he’s saying on TV? Do u think that he can achieve his goal? Maybe…because of all the money he has that’s what most of us think..but where does the money come from? It comes from us(The people of the Republic of the Philippines). It comes from us Filipinos.
Haven’t any others thought of it?
Manny Villar is a very very corrupted person and i think that we should pick/choose/vote for the person most rightful to this position as President of the Philippines.
Someone else much more worthy but not Manny Villar ever.

Anyone of u just vote for someone else just not Manny Villar.

Your money is not everything but it is good na gumastos ka ng malaki para mabahagi mo naman ang pork barrel na ginagamit mo.
Pls brothers & sisters do not be carried away by expensive video’s on TV. Don’t VOTE any TRAPO candidate, PLEASE!!!

we will be having our class panel discussion tomorrow nd our topic is about the effect of the diff. advertisements of the 2010 presidentiables…fortunately i got assigned to m.vilar ‘coz i have so many things to say about him. villar is one of the presidentiables who already spent billions for his ads and i’m beginning to think that right now he’s not afraid to spent so much money b’coz when he will get elected he can perform those unpermittable acts to refund all of those money, in short “corruption” but for all i know all of them are tend to be corrupt even those who are truly kind-hearted candidates…b’coz when it comes to politics people get easily drawn to fame, money and power that’s why since the beginning there is no official who didn’t became corrupt because the pure will eventually be tainted when it comes to the dirtiest world on the planet…”politics”.

What are the possible scenarios that will happen during election period? I think the first thing that comes to every Filipino’s mind is cheating. This is the the painful truth about the election in our country and the saddest part is we just let it happen. Some of us don’t want to be involved since most of us think that nothing can change what has been part of our culture. We are outraged by the lies these candidates say during their campaigns. But most of us just shuts up and accept it.

One factor that interferes with some Filipinos on their decision to choose the right candidate is poverty. Some poor Filipinos are willing to accept bribes from dishonest candidates for as low as 500 pesos, in exchange for a day of relief from hunger. Those poor people do it out of desperation and those candidates who are desperate for power takes advantage of their situation.

Lack of education is also the problem. There are illiterate voters who are influenced by candidates who donate goods with their name on it and it says ‘vote for me’. Some creates projects for the development of the community but with a huge name of the candidate at the bottom of the billboard. They are not fully aware of the intentions that these candidates conceal underneath all their projects.

Candidates may do every means possible in order for them to stay in power and cheating is the best weapon they have. The biggest question is- will we just let them insult our intelligence and take advantage of the uneducated masses?

We all want to change the notion that election in our country is just all about cheating and doception. We must be willing to stand up with pride and dignity, knowing that the one we chose to lead us is someone whom we trust and respect with utmost belief that he will serve us with sincerity in becoming a great and unified nation.

        Mr. Manny Villar,

I don’t think he’s fit for the position. I don’t question his intelligence.
His fame as a JIL leader is not enough, just because he’s a good preacher of your religion, it doesn’t necessarily mean he can lead a nation. Besides he doesn’t have experience in politics.

hindi naman sinabi ni brother eddie na dadalhin niya ang relihiyon sa malacanan kung nag-o-offer siya ng righteous governance .. a nation with a righteous leader benefits its citizens because this leader will do the best for them .. brother eddie has led jil and has branched out to 44 countries worldwide which proves that he has very good leadership skills .. he also didn’t have the skill to lead jil but see what God can do and one submits to His will ..

He keeps blaming the politicians being corrupt, how come he wants to belong to their world?

it is NOT that he wants to join the company of these corrupt people but the reason he is seeking the highest office of the land is to STOP this company of bad people so the people will benefit from the government of the people .. let us also vote into office the partymates of brother eddie ..

Wouldn’t it be better if he will lead his members to support for someone who really deserves the position to serve our country?

first, he is the one who really deserves the position to serve our country because of the righteous governance that he is offering and second, he did support candidates in the past but nothing good happened to the magnitude that he was expecting and that is why he wants to do it himself, not because he wants to enrich himself but to enrich the country that he loves and is very dear to his heart ..

I know two personalities, but I’m not here to promote them. I just want each and everyone to choose for themselves.
But I’m honestly against Manny Villar- MAN-EVIL-LIAR!

i agree with your take on manny villar but i have this firm belief that brother eddie is a far better choice than your two personalities .. the best choice is a righteous leader because God favors righteous people ..

how can a very successful businessman invest so much of his money in an undertaking where the result is not guaranteed unless he is spending money that is not from his pocket or unless the result can be manipulated in his favor so that there is this alibi later on to say that he won because of so much money spent for publicity .. it is unbelievable how he spends tons of money that he has accumulated through “sipag at tiaga” and then just throw it away just like that .. just wondering ..

        =======

“so, yung excess wealth nia, is gus2 nia lang pong ishare to us…”

        April 24, 2010 at 5:47 pm

But one thing i know is that you lack factual information about Manny Villar. Maybe you should read more and think more than give your senseless comments.

        jundp :

hindi naman sinabi ni brother eddie na dadalhin niya ang relihiyon sa malacanan kung nag-o-offer siya ng righteous governance .. a nation with a righteous leader benefits its citizens because this leader will do the best for them .. brother eddie has led jil and has branched out to 44 countries worldwide which proves that he has very good leadership skills .. he also didn’t have the skill to lead jil but see what God can do and one submits to His will ..

–1. Uhm… so he didn’t have the skill to lead JIL- but relied on God? your words. LoL.
        2. Righteousness? JIL has a partylist seat. A religious group with a partylist! If that is not breaking the spirit of the law- it certainly isn’t righteous.
        3. Your leader falls because of the sin of pride and greed. pride in himself, and greed for power. Same traits that Hitler had- and Hitler was a good (though evil) leader

it is NOT that he wants to join the company of these corrupt people but the reason he is seeking the highest office of the land is to STOP this company of bad people so the people will benefit from the government of the people .. let us also vote into office the partymates of brother eddie ..

        — 1. He doesn’t want to join the company? He’s already a part of it. Self Important people will always be corrupt because they think they have the right to be. Your Eddie doesn’t want to be President I assure you. He wants to be king.
        2. If he wants real change and if He was such a good leader- then why not convert the whole Philippines into JIL members thru his leadership- and change the country thru the people and not thru politics.

first, he is the one who really deserves the position to serve our country because of the righteous governance that he is offering and second, he did support candidates in the past but nothing good happened to the magnitude that he was expecting and that is why he wants to do it himself, not because he wants to enrich himself but to enrich the country that he loves and is very dear to his heart ..

        — 1. He is the only one? Rather doubtful. Rigtheous governance? Gordon did that in Subic when he was Chairman.
        2. If he wants change- then ask your Bro. Eddie to use his divine righteousness and leadership abilities to change the hearts of the Filipino people. Can he do that? Noynoy Aquino did that.

i agree with your take on manny villar but i have this firm belief that brother eddie is a far better choice than your two personalities .. the best choice is a righteous leader because God favors righteous people ..

–1. Eddie was my second choice last elections. The choice was GMA, FPJ, and a dying Roco. Now, however, there are better choices.
        2. The best choice is not just a righteous leader- We need a strong leader with a firm arm (sadly, Raul Roco died of cancer) Eddie? Strong? maybe whiney. Definitely not strong. Gordon leads in strength and political will. Noynoy with Mar at his side will do as well. Bro. Eddie? Please stick to God’s work.

Noynoy, isa kang Opurtunista!

I do not doubt that Manny Villar is a brillant business man and a very smart politician. HIs intellect in politics made him focus on the major population of the Philippines, the “mahirap” vote. Altough many people say his “Si Manny Villar ang tunay na mahirap” campaign is, well, disgusting, it is politics. Dirty it may be, but politics. But i, personally, do not trust this man’s financial intentions in office, because pre-election campaigns have cost him billions of pesos for advertising. There is something wrong there? No matter how rich he is, a billion pesos is a billion pesos, he has to get that somewhere. Since government pay is very low, almost not enough to sustain a happy lifestyle, he has to get that back from what you commonly call “kurakot”.

    Re: Manny Villar
The latest survey of Pulse Asia shows that MV is losing to Noynoy. I believe this due to the awareness of the Filipino voters that MV has used his influence as a Congressman and later Senator to expand his business. Noynoy was in Malacanang as the son of President Cory , I’m sure a lot of people approached him as a Presidential son , but he has the morals of his parents. The Filipinos will be better of with Noynoy as President because he is not thinking of his own business, whereas, Villar as a businessman President will surely expand his business

Walang mahirap kung walang corrupt. This has always been the sentiment and mindset of the Filipino people for the past (at least) 25 years and has been exploited by the ABNOY ticket. We have to redefine our thinking and attitude of we really want the Philippines move forward.

WALANG CORRUPT KUNG WALANG MAHIRAP. This a totally opposite approach. We have to have leader that has the capability to the economic well-being of the people. Corruption is an effect rather than a cause. Rich and developed countries – where corruption is minimal – is due to having a strong middle class.

Being corrupt is indeed a problem. But being an INCOMPETENT leader is the BIGGER problem. I believe that we have a strong political system and constituent that can always police corrupt officials as we have seen in the past. The Filipino people’s mindset has been corrupt with “corruption” albeit having a religion of love and trust. Let us free ourselves of this mentality and let’s build a New Philippines. Let us show the world that we as “POLITICALLY” matured and trustworthy people can appoint a leader that has a bigger purpose of uniting and leading the people; let us bury the past and start building for the future. We owe it to our children. And being a taxpayer, we demand that candidates work their ass out in serving and addressing our needs.

lets accept the fact- Sa ating Politics ay puro siraan, taong 1975 pa lamang mayaman na si Villar bakit ngayon lang nila iisa isahin ang mga properties niya?, kung kelan mag e eleksyon sa bansa!, I can say my vote will be for Villar, naniniwala ako sa mga nagawa niya at dun sa mga naninira its just a Noynoy who will win because of fans of endorsers, kung mapili kayo bakit ayaw niyo siyasatin ang komersyal/tv adds. nila – wala ba kayong napapansin? Villar commercials are Done and Past, what about Noynoy – Future, kasi sa Senado Wala siyang nagawa, Sana pag isipan natin ng malalalim bago mag eleksyon. -WAG NATING ISIPIN ANG NAGING KAKAYANAN NG MAGULANG NILA, LAHAT NG TAO AY IBA IBA.
