only blind people will say that Gloria deserves an applause for her leadership… she deserves to be imprisoned as soon as her term ends.

President Arroyo is the most criticized president not because she is the worst performing president but because she has no bonding with the biggest TV networks in the country and two survey firms that always beam more on negative side of her governance and show less of her good accomplishments. Her critics have no significant accomplishment to boast either. The best gauge how good Arroyo is,are the votes from elected local officials, congressmen and Mayors who truly represent their respective places,,, surely they’ll give a nod to our current president. The most important thing to look at the performance of the president is to look at per capita economics. Thus it improve during each term or not.Unfortunately since the early 60’s no president yet have achieved positve per capita economic growth.Because the country’s economic growth accomplishments of past presidents were not enough to cover increasing foreign debt servicing, increase in our population and inflation. Our per capita economics continued to slide down!!! for more than four decades already. If this scenario continues there will be less and less money to service our people. If I am right currently debt servicing already eats up 50% of national budget!!!Lets us look at post Marcos Presidents (from CIA facebook);Taking percent economic growth versus combination of percent increase in foreign debt servicing, percent population growth and percent inflation;; Per capita economics;;;Cory Aquino recorded (-8%),Ramos (-5%),Estrada (-7%),Arroyo (-3%).Who will bragged when all failed!!! We can rate them only who did the least harm to us filipino people.Because of this failure results to lack of opportunity, increase in poverty. On percent poverty,,Aquino assumed 32% from Marcos, handed it to Ramos at still 32%, handed to Erap at 32%,handed to GMA at 41`% and 2007 record at 40%.So generally life is becoming more difficult in our country. Conclusion we need leader with brain to lead our country that is engulf with this complex problems, not mere popularity.

I voted Arroyo against Erap in 2004, but during the continuance of her term, her ideals contradict the so called equal distribution of oppurtunity that she narrated in one of her speeches. Though she was roaming the country side giving oppurunity to far flung provinces by her rho-rhoes, the blessings only went to those in office and trickled in spats of points to the masses. And even at these point while enjoying less than five months in office, she still neglect the oppurtunities to give a fare share of the cake to many. 2009 was a real battle for the Filipinos, and the Arroyo gov. just led half way to fight its troubles. Half baked and neglectfully creamed.
