bro. eddie villanueva – e di ano ba talaga?

bro eddie villanueva print ad at PDI

bro eddie villanueva print ad at PDI

we saw this print ad yesterday at PDI. it again appeared today. it’s a small ad but we’re wondering what it means.  is bro. eddie running for president or not? is this the signal that he will?

the pick up of the color yellow is pretty obvious plus the yellow t-shirt. it’s obvious what it is trying to capitalize on. it’s kinda cheap and very contrive.

the ad is supposed to be the means to recruit for members to the movement. it’s probably a political party but named here as a movement. it does not say much which means it is not doing a good job at convincing people to join the movement. it is not even trying.

if this is a signal for more things from bro. eddie, we can’t wait to see what he will do next. but  bro. eddie needs to improve his marketing and advertising efforts.

Mukhang di sya ito or picture nya ito 20 years ago. Sa tingin ko mas mainam kung yung latest picture nya reflecting all his “kulubuts” kung meron man ang ilagay sa ads na yan – mas malapit sa katotohanan.

he’s not a loser po. Ang mga nasa gobyerno kasi they were trying to manipulate everything. Hindi po malinis ang election sa Pilipinas. We need a president that is fully devoted to God, a righteous leader na magpapatakbo ng bansa natin. Why you vote for people na alam mo sa sarili mo na puro kurakot ang alam? Like what Bro.
Hindi po ako nagagalit dahil I know we have a freedom of speech.

Sana iboto mo ang alam mong nararapat =)

I am Nina and I am for Bro. Eddie =))

I will vote for him if he will run again. He is definitely the most qualified and honest leader we need in our country. It always come from the top, if the president is corrupt or righteous then all under him will just be the same and follow its example.

Bro. Eddie ako! All presidentiables aside from him are already in politics and in the government but still nothing change in the Philippines. There is too much corruption. That is the only cause why Philippines is still a developing country. Why our contry is behind our neighbors. I pray he will be our next president.

may BANAL na Pagkatakot sa Diyos.

bakit ang japan..di naman kristianong bansa pero maasenso? most of European countries are not so religious but they are not a third world country? (jose rizal during his time have observed something on this, read your history) religion always poison everything… Philippines is one of the religious country and yet it is poor just like other 3RD WORLD country who is poor ( almost all catholic country and extreme Islamic fundamentalist have this characteristics). open your eyes, your reasoning and common sense…(reason and free inquiry!) kahit sino ang umupong pangulo..di parin mababago ang pilipinas…(pilipino should change the way he thinks and after that, his destiny will change) I THINK RELIGIOUS FUNDAMENTALISM IS NOT THE ANSWER! HISTORIES!! READ IT!! LEARN FROM IT..AND YOU WILL KNOW WHAT I MEAN….

It is because people just let that powerful God do the things prayed and we believe that whatever it would be it is brought about by GOD. Filipinos call this “PAGSUBOK.” Another one, Filipinos believe that once you are poor on earth, you will be rich in heave..hehehe there you go kaya tayo ganito.

C’mon guys. We have presidents in the past na iba-iba yung background but look at us now. Wala pa ring pagbabago. We have presidents of military background, a housewife, an actor, a mechanic, and even the most qualified one (proved by his high intellect) disappointed us the most and made a significant downturn in our history. Brains, media, charisma, riches, family background, and political background are never enough to define a righteous leader for our country. We need someone who has a big heart for the people and most importantly, a big heart for God. I believe Bro. Eddie has these qualities. He wouldn’t dare say foolish things if he’s acknowledging God. I believe he’s honest in everything he’s said. And if you’re saying his career as an evangelist wouldn’t be enough to convince you, fyi, he’s also a professor in economics, has finished bachelor of laws, and has experience in organizational management. Being the founder of Jesus Is Lord movement will be his highest qualification as a leader, which started from his initiating a Bible study with 15 students from PUP and later evolved into one of the largest Christ-centered churches in the world with over a million constituency. And that is something that the other presidentiables hasn’t done! During the Martial law period, Bro. Eddie is also one of the those who fought for the rights of his people.
Guys, iba ang mga taong umaangking para sila sa pagbabago ng bayan sa mga taong nakikipaglaban para sa pagbabago ng bayan. Bro. Eddie, PARA SA DIYOS AT BAYAN!

“Tantum religio potuit suadere malorum”- Lucretius.

meaning “to such heights of evil are man driven by religion”. In my opinion I don’t believe in somebody who is trying to run a government invoking religious fundamentalism. History is full of that kind notion, it is proven that when religion becomes strong they become brutal, racist, becomes the enemy of reason, and always at the opposite of scientific advancement. This is when they insist on doing a man made doctrines and Bronze Age myth (during the early times that these religious ignoramus believe that the earth is flat and will conveniently kill everyone who oppose). Today this people believe that the earth is less than 5000 years old! (gosh).

You said “pagbabago” ? what kind of change? For me the way “Filipino thinks and act must change, and the rest will follow”. I don’t see a candidate with religious fundamentalism background will solve our problem. I see that this kind of political gimmick will serve in the end the advancement of irrational religious oriented fundamentalist ideology (believe me…I really know).

The Filipinos are looking for a hero image…that is why “artistas” who are “bidas” in their movies proliferate. They didn’t realize that changing their thoughts will “definitely” change their destiny as a nation and they them selves will realize that they are the hidden hero.

ENDLESS VICIOUS CYCLE! Paulit ulit lang tayo…hindi kasi tayo matututo…panahon pa ng kastila ganito na tayo…dati mga prayle, ngayon naman mga religious leader…now I understand why jose rizal is so disappointed.

DANGER! WARNING!!On the way to the Forum of JIL movement’s Kingdom of Heaven,SOMEBODY called Eddie Villanueva’s attention and showed him the beauty and well-endowed Philippines.Eddie was told “This will all be yours” if you listen to me.
Eddie listened and so his pursuit of the Kingdom of Heaven where he cannot be King …has now shifted focus to the kingdom of the Philippines where he can be King.So with the herds of innocents beguiled by tele-evangelism and cultist gatherings and strange bedfellows like Nur Misuari, he proceeds onwards to the pursuit of his earthly kingdom. Many have seen this all too clear in History. And as Einstein said, experience is the absolute source of knowledge. Now if Eddie somehow prevails, his people will be rejoicing their triumph- then all the way to excesses. So, will we then see a repeat of Sodom and Gonorrhea?

Those who trust in the Lord will never be put into shame. Those who commented on Bro. Eddie does not even know what they are talking about. We supporters of Bro. Eddie who loves this nation and all Filipino people are not swayed by listening to negative comments, albeit we are moved by our fervent prayer and desire that our beloved native land will experience changes and Philippines will arise. We should not compare what others have failed, other than we must help in making the realization of a great Philippines when we elect a righteous leader, competent, has the courage to fight corruption, and the ability to effect change to our beloved nation. BRO. EDDIE VILLANUEVA has all the capability to be the right candidate as President of the Republic of the Philippines. Go Bro. Eddie and God speed.

2004 IS A BIG SHAME! DON’T YOU GET IT? SO MANY prophecy and yet bro eddie is last on the list on that 2004 election…all your ‘fantastic and unrealistic’ claims…it tells you and your “coreligionist” are not worthy of leading this country, hangang ngayon you are keep insisting your BRONZE AGE belief…

  28. NOLAN
    January 20, 2010 at 9:29 pm

to sean… 2004 election is far different from this coming election. I must admit that even other christian group support other candidate’s like Gloria, pero nangyari, sobrang pinagsisihan nila yung kanilang pagsuporta sa IPOKRITONG KRISTIANONG LEADER. Dagdagan mo pa ang sangdamukal na dagdag bawas at Hello Garci controversies. Kaya hindi lumabas yung inaasahang Boto para kay Bro.Eddie.
Now, Bro.Eddie’s vote will not only base on Born again Christians, but also from Pentecostals, Baptists, Seventh day Adventists, Concerned Catholics, and even Muslims and hopefully, the Iglesia Ni Christo votes. And this are serious matters sa mga Campaign Managers ng ibat ibang partido. Baka mabulaga sila sa kayang gawin ng Silent Majority.
Why not listen to some of Bro.Eddie’s speeches so do that you may know why we are eager to place a real God fearing Leader in this country of ours. As what bro.Eddie had said,“This world is too poor to buy my convictions on the principles of TRUTH, JUSTICE and RIGHTEOUSNESS”.

Kapag ayaw mo ng umasenso ang Pilipinas at ayaw mo nang tumira talaga dito iboto nyo ang lahat ng trapo subalit kung pangarap mo ay bagong Pilipinas na tunay na bansa ng mga taong nagmamahal sa Dios at sa bayan para sa ikauunlad nito at ikatataas nito you have only one man to vote and the man of God on todays generation is no other than Bro eddie. Its a big shame to us Christians if we will not support him because a big portion of muslims, catholics seventh day adventist and many more are all supporting Bro Eddie. Keep the faith and stay awake and together we will build the nation of the Philippines toward its original position as no, 2 or no. 1 country in asia in 1943 together with Japan. Thanks and God Bless us all!!!

i want our country be one of the prosperous…
but not by means of “religious fundamentalism” you and your coreligionist are trying to invoke…

nabasa ko yung mga credentials ni bro eddie and i can admit its good…but…in the mind and commonsense of a meticulous (mapanuring tao) people, you and others here seems proselytizing ( indoctrinating, para kayong nag eevangelize ) that i think is one of your weakness…you dont realize that not all the voters are “born-again evangelical christian” they become intimidated (lalo na ang INC na nililigawan nyo)

and i notice that even your so called BODY OF CHRIST is not “SOLID” in supporting their co- bornagain evangelicals…

hindi naman ako magtataka..in the history of Christianity there are so many disagreement between interfaith…kaya nga in the three great monotheistic faith JUDAISM, CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM… Christianity has develop most number of sect, denomination…and whether you like it or not, your so called “evangelical born-again christian” IS ONE OF IT.

“So sad talo na naman si bro. eddie, kala ko pa naman this time may himala na kagaya ng sinabi nya, napagod lang ako at naubus ang pera.”

Hehehe, ayaw ko na sanang mag komento pero, no offense, from my perspective nakakalongkot na nakatatawa ang reaction mu, bernie. I think you just CANDIDLY verbalize the general feelings of those who support brother eddie base on his claims and claims about him. I had the same feelings after his loss in 2004. I prayed and fasted, campaigned for him, supported him financially, i pollwatched past midnight and hoped for the promised, prophesied miracle. I hope this will lead you to question and examine yourself introspectively, what you stand for, your foundational beliefs, etc… From there it will lead you to more questions, and if you search and study with an open mind, to more truths and wonderful discoveries about yourself and this world we live in and who ultimately controls and orchestrates these seemingly senseless and frustrating events and where all these things wonderfully culminates.
