        October 27, 2009 at 8:07 pm

For my own opinion, Senator Loren Legarda has so much ideas and she just only needs someone who shares the same vision just like her. Someone who will stick to her platform. Right now, it’s better for us to support those who really wants what’s best for us. We’ve been longing to have a good governance and love for the environment. And, I guess this is the right time for us to unite and share the same goal. To make this happen, it should start from you, me and the rest will follow.

She already had proven her capabilities to serve her country. She was not just given a chance to show more. Her bill for climate change which was recently approved by President Arroyo was just part of her service to our nation. I guess, it’s about time to support those who have good intentions to our mother earth. Because it has a big contribution esp in preserving our culture and heritage. It will also show that we have a good country to stay with if we only take good care of our environment and this is what Senator Loren Legarda wants. To know more about her advocacies, visit:http://thegreenvicepresident.blogspot.com

With all sincerity, I would go for Mar Roxas; simply because he has the training and background to help us in our economic situation. I still can’t find it plausible that Binay can replicate the results of Makati’s progress in the whole of Philippines.

    • May 17, 2009 at 9:47 pm

i think roxas is suffering on likeability at the moment. i think they know it but their solution to it so far is failing or at least they do not know how to solve it yet. what a pity.

can’t you see it…binay’s work as a MAYOR is the same as a PRESIDENT. And he has shown how to be a GOOD MAYOR through implementation of basic public service programs such as in health and education which are the key to a progressive community. If one is educated and healthy, he is productive and a vital factor to his community.

May pag-ahon, May Bukas Pa!
      Mayor Binay for President!!!!!!

i will vote for lacson. i believe in him, with his principles and advocacy to fight the corrupt people in the government. he has been fighting for our country evento those who are seated int he government who are coorupt like the “senators” and other public officials whether in the majority or in the minority. people feared him, why? because they know that he will run for those people who have been coorupting our government. thats the reality of it, if only Ping Lacson will be given a chance to govern and become our next president our country will defenitely rise up and compete with the countries that are rising right now.

    • May 19, 2009 at 11:11 am

lacson stands only for anti-corruption, nothing more. while corruption is a key problem in the country, it is NOT THE ONLY problem.

also, what good has come out of lacson’s strong anti-corruption crusade? has anyone been put to jail? has his actions stopped corruption? has anyone been put into trial?

or his “esposes” nothing but grand standing?

        July 4, 2009 at 12:46 pm

The expressway design is logical given present conditions.

What Senator Jamby Madrigal, claims in her Powerpoint Presentation was that the original design was for the expressway to pass in an area a few kilometres south of the NAIA runway. That area, now known as Moonwalk, Merville, Nichols, etc. is cramped with numerous, private residiential households. Due to this, C5 Expressway had to be realigned, very near the runway and through open but rather narrow fields in Paranaque. By chance, the realignment passes near Senator Villar’s properties due to a lack of space.

Due to that, Villar was then accused of using the expressway to benefit his properties which he has since denied.

        • August 28, 2009 at 7:51 pm

Eto ang corruption, Zonal value of his prop. was only 1,300/ sq. mtr.Pin resyohan ng DPWH at binayaran si Villar ng 13,500.00/ sq mtr as payment for right of way.

lets wait for the coming days you will see, I want you to know that this coming 2010 presidential election is very crucial, all of us pinoy has another window of opportunity to vote for a good and a righteous leader. alam natin na lahat na sila matagal ng nasa katungkulan pero may nagawa bang pagbabago? Magising na tayo mga pinoy think for the future of your son. ito na ang last chance natin hahantayin ba natin na malubog tayo ng husto sa kahirapan gawa ng mga trapo na puro money politics ang alam eventually babawin naman pagnaupo na sila. PINOY GISING BANGON NA PARA SA PAGBABAGO.

  20. July 29, 2009 at 5:22 pm

For me the alternative presidentiables should really unite and talk. I am not discredeting other candidates but based on my personal study and scruitiny… the reason I supported Nicanor “Nick” Perlas is because he has the experience, he has the accomplishment, he has the vision, he is rooted on ecumenical spirituality and he will work with us.

    Check out http://www.nicanorperlas.com

    Thanks po!

i believe mayor binay has the capability to govern the entire nation. he is well educated, has enough experience, and has vision for the country – the same vision that he started in makati, once a bankrupt municipality after marcos regime.

    Question:

    1) Why is Senator Madrigal’s bar filled to the max considering she has less than 1 percent?

    2) If Senator Lacson is no longer running, is it possible to take him out of the list and recalculate the poll? Or at least put in parentheses (no longer running)?

all the way to Fernando ako… Political Will lang talaga at tamang disiciplina ang kailangan… look what Bayani and Marides they’ve done in Marikina… MMDA alone with Bayani leadership changing to uplift Manila is a good example how can he change our country.. problema lang ang daming matitigas ang ulo sa maynila…

Si Binay.. libre daw lahat… no wonder madami squatter sa Makati.. lol..

    kea nga.. nothing is impossible..

    • August 26, 2009 at 5:27 pm

the 2010 Presidenitbales Blog Poll is a poll among those who visit the blog, it does not necessarily reflect the total philippines and voters.

the pulse asia survey is a national survey whose respondents match the voters in this country.

I am not against Bro. Eddie for I think he is indeed a qualified choice but does he really have a plan for that?

Yup, he has a plan for this nation. Actually he has a vision for this nation. It is important for a leader to have a vision kasid dun sya nakafocus, yun ang goal nya. And he’s starting with seven Es.

Thank you for that info but that would mean that Bro. Eddie got around 6,000 votes in those 5 days. Unless I am mistaken, I did not notice a correlating rise that high in blog hits unless every single person who clicked into this site during that time came here just to vote. The rise in votes for him is stopping.

Simply because its a separate thing. Probably they could do “good” things while serving the church, but i dont think it would be the same way serving the nation. Please refrain posting your stupi or nonsense ideas. Stupid moron!

      • ryca
        September 12, 2009 at 8:26 am

Seperation of Church and State?

      • September 24, 2009 at 12:26 pm

Im not trying to be too religious here, but definitely you can not remove God in any affairs of the nation. I just want to encourage everyone to consider voting for right person without evil and selfish intention. Its always flow from the top, a good leadership or not, will just follow through downline. There’s still hope for the Philippines, if we choose the right candidate this time. Bro Eddie is the perfect choice for the total change and to end the long standing corruption in the government, which dragging the whole nation down. Think first noypi123, for the sake of our future generation.

There are rumours cicrculating that Fernando is withdrawing and will return to Marikina City instead either retiring or seeking to run for mayor as soon as he leaves his post around November 2009 or later.

Originally, Fernando wished to retire from public office after becoming president. This means that there was a possibility for several years in his mind that he had been planning his retirement around 2016 or some years after when he will reach his 70s.

TO: All THE CHRITIANS AND RIGHTEOUS FILIPINOS;If we truly believed that this country is a Christian Nation then,we knew by conviction or shall we say “KONSENCIA” that we cannot vote for a person with records of anomally in the government and questionable lifetyles? In fact we all know that some of these candidates are even already convicted of corruptions and some are on cases right now!
I do believe that if we are truly a Christian or Righteous Catholic or a Righteous Filipno,How come that we will despise a rightepous person to run for office? How in the world that we continue to become blind? Just because He or She is not popular or rich or came from a wellknown family?
I believe that the ultimate problem of our country is corruption, any kind of installed government that do not understand God and know God and his word, will never ever solve our problem.Because, I believe that the answer of corruption is to see a leader who has no record of corruption and can show an example of a holy and righteous service to the country!
My Dearly beloved Filipinos Please think? It is not about Bro.Eddie or any candidate, it is about our Christianity and Ritheousness of which I believe we all are desiring to see since we are born to be the only CHRISTIAN NATION IN SOUTHEAST ASIA!

IF WE TRULY ARE CHRISTIANS, THEN HOW IN THE WORLD WE WILL CHOOSE A PERSON THAT BEYOND THE SHADOW OF A DOUBT ARE LIVING IN AN UNCHRITIAN LIFE?

  53. December 15, 2009 at 7:55 pm

this nation needs a righteous leader, not a veryrich, well known, smart, active personalities where all this kind will come to an end, but rigtheousness exalts a nation. dont be blinded by money, by smartness, by popularity, by personal emotion, but cast your vote due to your love of God and country. please naman we are hunger for rigtheousness the next generation need a peaceful nation, grant thier needs by casting your votes to a godfearing candidate. let this nation taste peace

“Tantum religio potuit suadere malorum”- Lucretius.

meaning “to such heights of evil are man driven by religion”. In my opinion I don’t believe in somebody who is trying to run a government invoking religious fundamentalism. History is full of that kind notion, it is proven that when religion becomes strong they become brutal, racist, becomes the enemy of reason, and always at the opposite of scientific advancement. This is when they insist on doing a man made doctrines and Bronze Age myth (during the early times that these religious ignoramus believe that the earth is flat and will conveniently kill everyone who oppose). Today this people believe that the earth is less than 5000 years old! (gosh).

You said “pagbabago” ? what kind of change? For me the way “Filipino thinks and act must change, and the rest will follow”. I don’t see a candidate with religious fundamentalism background will solve our problem. I see that this kind of political gimmick will serve in the end the advancement of irrational religious oriented fundamentalist ideology (believe me…I really know).

The Filipinos are looking for a hero image…that is why “artistas” who are “bidas” in their movies proliferate. They didn’t realize that changing their thoughts will “definitely” change their destiny as a nation and they them selves will realize that they are the hidden hero.

ENDLESS VICIOUS CYCLE! I understand why jose rizal is so disappointed.
