The 2010 Presidentiables Blog Poll closed – #1-villanueva; #2-gordon; #3-teodoro; #4-aquino

several tens of thousands voted in our poll here at The 2010 Presidentiables Blog  Poll which was first opened on december 2, 2009. this is probably one of the most successful internet poll on the 2010 presidentiables given the sheer number of voters.

this was the 2nd presidentiables poll we opened here with the first one including the undeclared but claimed candidates. this poll only includes the official COMELEC list of presidentiables.

we like to thank everyone for viting in the polls and posting your comments her.

on may 10, we will open a new poll – an exit poll. you will be asked to vote the presidentiable you actually voted in the election.

villanueva drops further,  now at 30% (from previous 32%) and gordon at 2nd  closes the gap,  improving to 26% (from 24%). now only 4% points separate the two. a flurry of facebook account holders may have pushed gordon’s ratings to go up. there has been an impressive surge of facebook account holders in this blog in recent days.

villanueva remains on the lead with 32% (from 33%). gordon remains at 2nd with 24%. the news here is noynoy aquino at 3rd who started to break away from teodoro with now 16%. teodoro remains at 14% . aquino and teodoro for a long period has been tied at 3rd/4th.

February 13, 2010; 11pm
both gilbert teodoro and noynoy aquino improves their rating to 14% but remain tied at 3rd. villanueva is still in the lead but his ratings fall to 33%. richard gordon remain at 2nd at 26%.

January 7, 2010; 9am
the top 4 standings remain – villanueva at the top with 35%, gordon at 2nd with 32% and the 3rd spot is now shared by aquino and teodoro with each getting 11%. aquino has inched up to a tie at 3rd while villanueva has slid down to 35% from 36%.  villar is a far 5th at 7%.

note that this poll already has thousands of voters which makes movements in the ratings more difficult as it will need a much greater number of voters to increase the ratings of the candidates.

December 16, 2009; 9am
nicanor perlas removed. villanueva regains lead with 36%, followed by gordon at 31%. teodoro is 3rd at 12%, aquino is at 4th with 9%, villar is next at 7%.

December 14, 2009; 2pm
reichard gordon takes the lead in the poll with 32%. prvious leader vuillanueva drops to 2nd at 30%. teodoro is at 3rd with 14%, followed by aquino at 11%. gordon took the lead with a surge  of voters from facebook.

December 14, 2009; 9am
richard gordon surges to 31% and now shares the lead with villanueva.

December 13, 2009; 11am
 another gordon surge moving his rating to 27% from previous 18%. this moves gordon closer to leader villanueva who is at 33%. teodoro ramains at 3rd with 14%, followed by aguino at 11%.

December 9, 2009; 9am
gordon surges to 2nd place at 18% coming form nowhere from previous

 report. villanueva continue to lead at 34%, also a surge from 25%. 3rd is teodoro at 16% and aquino drops to 4th at 13%.

December 5, 2009; 11am
villanueva now leads at 25%, followed by villar and teodoro tied at  2nd/3rd at 18%. aquino deops to 4th at 15%.  

December 3, 2009, 7am
a surge of voters went to this blog’s 2010 Presidentiables Poll and voted just on day 1. the results of day 1 voting in this blog’s poll puts noynoy aquino the dominant leader at 28%,  followed by manny villar, a far 2nd at 16%. gilbert teodoro is at 3rd at 14%m eddie villanueva at 13% at 4th and richard gordon 5th at 12%. gordon reaching 5th in the poll is surprising since he did not figure in our previous poll. we should expect major changes in the coming days as more readers of this blog vote in the poll.

December 2, 2009 – we are opening a fresh 2010 Presidentiables Poll that now lists the official candidates for the 2010 Presidential election. We have decided only to include the major candidates who have filed their Certificate Of Candidacy the deadline of which was yesterday. We will keep this poll open until election day in May 2010. 

Note that you are allowed only 1 vote, the software will prevent you from voting more than once. The names will also be rotated in random.
